Based on the experiences of family physicians using EHRs, we offer the following summaries of the features, advantages, and disadvantages of desktops, laptops, and tablet PCs. Keep in mind that this decision is not necessarily an either/or situation -- these devices can be used separately or in combination depending on your needs and preferences.
