Determine Interest Among Your Colleagues and Staff -- It is critical to determine the level of interest and support for an EHR initiative among your colleagues and staff. Identifying and empowering champions enhances the likelihood of success. You must also uncover and address potential resistance.
Establish the EHR Team -- With any large project, a project team needs to be assembled. There are different roles that need to be filled, but one person may fill more than one role.
Things to Consider -- There are several issues that you must consider before implementing and even selecting an EHR.
